How We Work

Hiring from Willow & Ware is simple — here's everything you need to know, from browsing the collection to bringing it back home to us.
1. Browse the Catalogue

Start online. Our full catalogue is organised by category — ceramics, glass, wood, and more — so you can build a shortlist before you even step through the door. New pieces are added regularly (We keep growing Christina's collection), so it's worth checking back or following @willowandwareprops for a first look at new stock.

2. Get in Touch

Found pieces you love, or need help sourcing a look? Send us your shortlist, mood board, or brief and we'll take it from there.

Tell us your shoot or event date, the pieces or look you're after, and how long you'll need them for. We'll confirm availability and talk you through pricing.

3. Book a Viewing

Our showroom in Kentish Town, North London is open by appointment only. We'd always recommend seeing pieces in person — vintage means every item has its own character, and it helps to handle things before your shoot. Appointments are easy to arrange around your schedule, just give us a call or drop us a message.

Can't make it in? We're happy to send extra photos or hop on a video call instead.

4. Confirm Your Hire

Once you know what you need, we'll send over a quote and hire agreement covering:

  • Hire period and any extension options

  • Cost per item and any minimum hire spend

  • Collection/delivery arrangements

5. Collect or We'll Deliver

Most clients collect from our Kentish Town showroom, but we can arrange delivery across London for larger orders — just ask when you enquire. Everything leaves us carefully packed.

6. Use, Style, Shoot

Enjoy the pieces on set. If anything changes with timings, let us know as early as you can — we'll always try to be flexible.

7. Return Everything

Return items by the agreed date, in the condition they left us, packed as they arrived. We'll check everything back in and let you know its returned safely.

Damages & Loss Vintage pieces are irreplaceable, so we ask all hirers to take good care of them on set. Minor wear is expected as per T&C you break you buy; for anything broken or lost, we'll be in touch to arrange a fair replacement cost. Full terms are in our hire agreement.

First time hiring with us? Ask about our first-hire discount when you get in touch — we love welcoming new stylists and creatives to the collection.

Got a question that's not covered here? Email us — we're always happy to help.
